Courses for you who are new with a computer

If you have never used a computer before or want to refresh how to do, our course

'Beginner 1: Computer for everyday life' is for you!

If you complete Beginner 1 you can continue at 'Beginner 2: Computer for job' the following semester.

A course is 12 weeks with classes three hours once a week.

Our spring semester runs from March to June 2021.

Beginner 1: Computer for everyday life

At this course, you will acquire the basic skills to use a computer and to use the internet and thereby independently be able to solve digital tasks in your everyday life.

If you have none or limited computer skills, this course is for you. At the end of this course you will be able to independently use a computer, the internet, e-mail and public platforms such as Borger.dk, e-boks.dk, Sundhed.dk and netbank.

Beginner 2: Computer for job

At this course, you will build upon your existing computer skills and acquire digital skills needed to search for a job and to take a job where basic IT-skills are required.

 

At the end of this course you will have a basic level in the mostly used Microsoft Office programs. The course is project oriented and you will create a CV, a presentation about yourself and a budget.

What will you learn? 

  • To use Word and make a CV

  • To use Power Point and make a presentation

  • To use Excel and make a budget

  • To navigate Jobnet.dk and search for jobs on the internet

Entry requirements

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic e-mail skills

  • Commitment to attend all classes

  • Ability to read and write Danish, Arabic, Farsi, Sorani or Tigrinya
