In spring 2021 we are running four courses. They are all full, but if you want to join our fall semester please fill out the interest form and we will invite you for our next info session.

Introduction to JavaScript

This course is for you, if you want to learn to code in JavaScript. At the end of the semester, you will be able to understand JavaScript at an introductory level, hereunder terminology, concepts and scripting. You will be able to work independently on your own project.

JavaScript is a programming language for the web. It is for example used to enhance web pages to provide for a more user friendly experience. You will learn JavaScript for front-end web development, meaning that you will learn to code the user interface, i.e what the user sees.

Introduction to Data Analytics

This course is for you, if you want to learn how to work with, visualize and analyze data. At the end of the semester, you will be able to understand the principles of machine learning, statistical modelling and to make one predictive model.

We will prioritize candidates with basic understanding in either Python, R, SQL or Ruby.

Candidates who do not have experience in the above-mentioned will be considered and if chosen will have to complete online courses before the first class.

User Experience

This course is for you, if you want to develop your understanding of users and want to learn how to design experiences for them. At the end of the semester, you will be able to undertake user research, put yourself into the users' mindset and design online platforms that provide meaningful experiences to the users, taking aspects of design, usability and functions into account.

User Interface

This course is for you, if you have completed our User Experience course and want to learn more about how to to design the user interface of a webpage.

 

The course is project-oriented and during the semester, you will learn how to go from prototyping a user interface to refining and presenting the interface of the webpage to others.

What will you learn? 

  • To understand the Laws of UI

  • To follow design systems

  • To design for digital interaction

  • To apply design ethics

  • To prototype a user interface

You identify yourself as a woman and have a background as refugee or migrant

You are highly motivated to participate actively

You have thought about what you want to get out of the course and use it for

You can not obtain these skills in other ways

You are unemployed or have a job that is not within your field of education

You are not a full time student

You are not from an EU/EØS country (If from EU/EØS your application will only be taken into account if there are not enough qualified applicants from outside the EU/EØS)
